Metal types


Gold-filled jewelry is a solid layer of gold that is mechanically bonded to a base metal, like brass. The gold layer consists of 5% of the jewelry’s total weight. Gold-filled jewelry does not rub off, due to it being mechanically bonded to the base.  

Gold-filled jewelry is hypoallergenic and a great affordable option for people who are allergic to metals.  

Rose gold-filled  

Rose gold-filled jewelry is made very similar to gold-filled. It also consists of a 5% gold layer over a base metal.

Sterling silver  

Sterling silver jewelry is alloyed with other metals. Due to its soft material, it is essential to combine it with harder metal, like copper or zinc, to make the silver more resistant and less sensitive to marks. We use .925 sterling silver.
